Spring Is Over, Looking Back At How Beautiful The Season Is In Vermont

Sun shines on some colorful daffodils in St. Albans,
Vermont back on May 6.  Spring, now over, is
my favorite time of year.
 Basically, it's summer now.

Oh, sure, astronomical summer doesn't officially start until 4:50 p.m. June 20.  But meteorological summer is here, having started June 1. And the weather has quite often surely felt like summer lately. The landscape looks like full summer, too.

Spring, though, is my favorite time of year, with summer a close second. I just low how the drabness of winter disappears into the bold colors of spring.

Every day during the spring looks different and more colorful than the day before.

I try to spend as much time outdoors that time of year, despite the clouds of black flies.

Here's a look back at the spring, through my eyes (and the lens of an old iPhone).

For each of the videos, click on the hyperlink, or, if you see the image below that link, click on that.

Here's the first one:

Early spring can be wet and cold and windy, but it's still beautiful. Eventually, the sun does come out. Not sure if the rain or sun is more beautiful in this one.  Click on this link.

I'm a daffodil nut.  The following video checks out some of the many, many  daffodils around my yard.   Again, click on this link or image below if you see it.

As I've said in past posts, the height of spring is peak foliage season. Here's a video to prove it, by clicking on this link, or seeing below.

Finally, spring brings us lilacs. You can almost smell their aroma in this video, clicking on this link or viewing below.
