A Steamy Warm Diversion To The Frigid Vermont Weather

If you want a distraction from the Arctic air over Vermont
lately, this photo, and the video below, were taken on a
steamy, warm July 14, 2021 in St Albans, Vermont.
I've already posted the video in this post as a standalone on social media, but I might as well put it in a blog post, as it does involve weather.

But not the kind of weather we're getting now.

Many people are pining for the days when we don't have to wear 376 layers of clothes. I get it. It's Vermont. We have winter. It's cold. Deal with it.

Still, summer days are much easier to deal with, even if whiny me starts complaining about the heat and humidity by mid-July. Oh well.

The photo and the video below takes us to St. Albans, Vermont on July 14, 2021. It was a humid one. It wasn't that hot, due to the showers and thundershowers the muggy air was generating. (The high that day was 83 degrees, the low a stuffy 71).

In the video, the flowers in the gardens had just gotten a nice drink from a brief, passing thunderstorm.  The storm did nothing to alleviate the humidity. In fact, it made things steamier.

But with the past two mornings in the teens and 20s below zero under our belt. a steamy summer day is just the ticket.
